Written for sheds, not workshops
Most woodworking sites are written by people with a table saw, a planer and a dust extractor. If that is not what you have, half the advice does not apply and the other half needs a machine you cannot fit through the door.
Everything here can be done with hand tools, in a small space, over a weekend. Some of it is slower than the machine version. Most of it is quieter, cheaper and easier to learn – and you can start this afternoon with whatever is already in the drawer.
